Exercise no. 8 (Microsoft Publisher)

Description

In this exercise were task to create our own greetings card, invitation card and certificates in order that we can know how to use the MS Publisher in the field of education. Also to make our own layout for the classroom decorations and etc. It also useful in making tarp-papel and reading materials.

                                                Learning's

I learned a lot from this activity, it enhances my creativity to make new designs for this tasked very interesting and enjoyable to use it because there are lots of designs that I can use for my projects and my instructional materials. After this I used it during “Field Study 3” in making tarp-papel for the learning activity 4. Also in my demo for our finals in MAPEH 114 in methods and strategies in teaching MAPEH. This so very helpful to me and in the future.

Exercise no. 9 (Blog with the story of my life)

Descriptions

Blog is one of the tool you can access information and also use in education purposes. In this activity/exercise the teacher taught us how to make a blog using our gmail account. In this we are tasked to make our own with our autobiography and life at VSU. And pass it using our gmail through sending the link to his gmail account also.

Learning's

           In making a blog it needs your great understanding and creativity on what was the style of it and how it looks pleasant to the viewers. By this I can used it in future in my class by simply posting my handouts, assignment and educational purposes and let them open my blog and download everything there about their activities and so on…  

Exercise no. 10 (Movie Maker)

Description

The teacher tasks us to make an educational video base on our major field. Using video camera and burn it in the CD/DVD tape. It is one of the application of the computer that you can make any documentaries in it and educational purposes.

                         Learning's

Making an educational video was very interesting and enjoyable, because there are lots of funny moment and unnecessary actions and mistakes happening. It helps me to create more interesting educational video for my students in the future and burn it to the CD/DVD tape. Also I can make more video documentaries using the Movie Maker.

My Autobiography

My name is Neil Pita Declaro, 22 and I was born on the 29^th of December, 1994 in Brgy. Mailhi, Baybay City, Leyte. My mother’s name was Josephine Declaro and my father’s name was Remegio Declaro they live at Brgy. Villa Solidaridad, Baybay City, Leyte with my siblings. My father was a farmer and my mother was a housewife. I am a 5^th child of my parents.

When I was a child my mother said that they brought me to Manila because of their work there and I was only 2-6 month old. For how many years there in Manila until I was 5 years old my parents decided to leave me in the house of their boss because of some matters. I did not cry because they promise that they will be back for me. The only thing I know was the boss of my parents like me because they don’t had a son and they only had a daughter in that matter the boss of my parents give everything to me toys that I liked, foods, brought  me to another places  and everything they give for me, only that I feel happy. They want to adapt me as their own child, they promised that they are the one who sent me to school and gave everything to me. But my parents say “NO” because they love me so much and after that my parents brought me to Las Piňas, Laguna where they live and worked. After how many months passed they decided to go back in Baybay, Leyte for my studies and live there forever.

So I finished my elementary years at Mailhi ES., as Salutatorian and finished my high school at Mailhi NHS. as 1^st honorable mention and decided to finished my studies in college at Visayas State University as Bachelor in Secondary Education major in MAPEH. Now I’m in 3^rd year in college at Visayas State University or Visca in Baybay City Leyte. I am most interested in Geographical history and TV shows of other countries such as “Star World”. I love to draw, sing, dance, cook and watch movies. Favorate color was blue, I love to travel in other places and eat different kinds of food. Favorate sports was Badminton and Volleyball, favorate song was Someone’s Watching Over me by Hillary Duff and many more.

            I’m a loving person, kind and organized. I don’t like people whose very demanding and very “makulit” and most of all the people that didn’t respect me and abuse my kindness because they feel that I’m still okay but not, most of all to those people who are very judgemental that don’t understand my explanation telling them frankly about things that are very valuable for me, because they feel that I’m very “hambog ra daw ko”, “kanahan”, “maguba ra na  kay dili pahulam’’, “hakog”, “price tag daw ko, because I always said daw nga hinayi na kay maguba mahal baya na”, and “when I need their help there are lots of  excuses hinogo daw ko or  dili kay nay buhaton” and then I realize why I’m so very kind to them when they need my help and when I need them the answer is “NO” then I said myself okay fine, that’s why they don’t understand me why I always doing it to them so that they would not be dependent to others.

I always trust myself to God that always guide me in my journey of my life and always lead me of what are my decision in life and always protect me in any things that can destroy my dignity. This is my life and I hope people would understand me who I am and what I am. 

How You Live Your Life Here in VSU

In three years here in Visayas State University there are lots of things happened in my life, having a new circle of friends and encounter different teachers. In college I found out that it’s not easy, this is where your life has been tested and challenge for so many things that you need to overcome. To survive you need to adapt the culture of being a college students and give everything you can as a good student in VSU. The way of teaching has been change, the subjects was very difficult and the standard was so very high. I see myself here in VSU, how I can survive here? How I can do best as a student? How I can assure myself here? But I found out to myself that I can do it and just do my best.

I struggled very much due to some of my subjects because I did not encounter it during my high school days. I feel very disappointed of myself because of it, maybe it’s not enough my ways of studying in terms of my studies or maybe I’m too slow. Then I found out everything that in VSU you need to study very hard in order to pass your subject, you need to go deeper and make it as your priorities in life. I’ve change a lot I am more open minded and productive. I was so very responsible of myself of having my studies as priorities. Very grateful that VSU is my School that trained me to be one of their best students and build me to become more strong and confident to face my struggles in life. Only I can say is that VSU is not only trained you to become smart but trained you to become more productive and organize.

Visayas State University can change the life of a students and make you more knowledgeable in every ways, and teaching you to become a good citizen. Also trained me to be one of their best students and build me to become more strong and confident. Visayas State University is just like our mother that embraces us when we are sad and lonely because of its beauty, color, and shape that we’ve always seen. This how I live my life here in Visayas State University by simply enjoying it and learned from it. And very proud that I am Viscans.
